  • Golden Vision Community Forum homepageThe new Golden Vision Community Forum is a great way to weigh in on topics concerning growth and development in the City of Golden. It’s free to sign up, and easy to join a conversation.

On the homepage you can either access one of the featured “Polls” or “Idea Submission” quick links at the top of the page that the city is hoping to get public feedback on, or scroll down a little further and really dig into one of the “Categories” that interests you. The categories are further split into “Topics” that help focus the discussion. You can either submit your own ideas on the issues covered, or you can offer feedback and vote on ideas submitted by others. Planning staff reads every submission, and jumps in to answer questions when they arise.

The first step to joining the conversation is to sign up. The required information is starred with an asterisk, but any additional information you choose to offer will only enhance your profile. ALL information provided is completely confidential, and none will be shared with anyone. You can also choose whether or not you want your profile to be viewed by others. You can even connect the profile with your Facebook profile if you want to!

    • Golden Vision Community ForumEast Downtown Neighborhood Draft Plan – This area generally spans the small area east of Downtown Golden from 15th Street to 10th Street and from Prospector’s Alley to just east of Ford Street. The plan is in a very rough draft form right now, and City staff is looking for feedback and comments to help craft it.
    • Circulator Bus Discussion - There are three bus service options that spread the same number of hours over seven days in different service increments. The more service there is on the weekends, the less frequent the service is on week days. Staff is looking for answers to a poll, as to which option would best serve the community and where the needs are in the community. What do you think?
