Local Liquor Licensing Authority
Obtaining a liquor license in the City of Golden is a privilege, not a right. Liquor licenses are issued by the State and the City of Golden. The City cannot issue the local license until the State has reviewed and approved the application and issued the State license. The Local Licensing Authority meets on the fourth Tuesday of each month. These meetings are open to the public and take place in City Council Chambers, 911 10th Street at 2:30 p.m. For more information call 303-384-8015.
The Board is comprised of a Sole Hearing officer who is appointed by City Council.
