Google Earth Maps

Instead of looking at static maps, many people prefer to visualize their world in 3D. By utilizing Google Earth, end users can see things from a ‘different perspective’. The City of Golden is happy to make available data layers that are viewable in Google Earth.

**Please note that in order to view these layers, you MUST HAVE Google Earth installed on your computer. Please visit Google Earth to install the free files. Make sure to check back periodically to view updated Google Earth files.

Traffic Counts – View historic traffic count information from various locations throughout the City. Information is displayed for the last 10 years, where available. Please note that information displayed prior to 2006 was collected over a 72-hour period and averaged to obtain the Average Daily Traffic Count, or ADT. All other counts were obtained over a 24-hour period.
