City of Golden Launches New Website!
Welcome to the brand new City of Golden website! If you’re a seasoned visitor to www.cityofgolden.net, you may have checked your URL twice when you landed on the page. Don’t adjust your dial – we have a whole new look!
We’re excited to announce the launch of our brand new website. Take a look around. You’ll notice new content, better navigation, more photos and videos, and yes, a whole new look and feel. Planning for the new site began over a year ago, gradually taking shape with the input of focus groups, and the expertise and guidance of the local Golden web design and development firm, o2 Group. We’re really pleased with the result, and hope you will be as well.
As you may have noticed, the new site now features an old west theme, a nod to the City’s roots. The more intuitive navigation and improved content, however, embraces Golden’s present and future as an innovator and a prospering community.
If you were accustomed to the navigation on the old site, you’ll see a significant change – if you’ve bookmarked any pages on the site, they’ll be due for an update. Golden is a place where people Live, Work, and Play, which is how the site is now structured. If you still can’t find what you’re looking for, however, we now have a City Services index, which will take you directly to the information you seek.
As with any new website, there may be a few glitches that need adjustment over the next few weeks, so please bear with us. We’ll be adding more content in the coming weeks and months, and have exciting plans for the continued growth of the site. We envision this becoming a “destination site” for residents and visitors alike — the first stop for anyone interested in learning more about our great community.
