Facilities & Use Rentals

City Park Pavilion Rentals

The City of Golden is pleased to offer the pavilions in four different city parks for rental. Please note, however, that only the pavilion and pavilion facilities are available for rent, and NOT the whole park itself. The rest of the park and its amenities are enjoyed on a first come, first served basis by everyone.

If you are interested in renting one of the city’s park pavilions, please refer to the following steps:

1. Read and agree to our Park Pavilion Reservation Policies.

2. Review the rental rates for the park pavilion of interest to you.

3. Check for available dates by emailing Brian Harris at bharris@cityofgolden.net. Please be specific about the pavilion, date, and times you are interested in.

4. Complete the Park Pavilion Rental Form (pdf)

5. If alcohol will be consumed, please complete the following steps:

• Read our Alcohol Use Regulations (pdf) 
• After agreeing to the terms of the Open Container Disclosure Form, sign and remit our Open Container Permit Form (pdf)
• Alcohol permits are only issued with a pavilion rental.

6. Return all forms to Brian Harris in one of the following ways:

Please note, your reservation is not complete and the pavilion is not reserved until we have received the signed forms and your payment. We accept checks, cash, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.

Community Center Facility Rentals

Located at the base of the foothills, the Golden Community Center is a beautiful oasis to hold special events and meetings of all kinds, from weddings to business conferences. The Golden Community Center’s spacious Community Room offers an elegant yet contemporary atmosphere for special events. This room will impress up to 250 guests with hardwood floors, high vaulted ceilings with chandeliers, spectacular views, and a private terrace.

The Golden Community Center also has meetings rooms ideal for conferences, meetings, training sessions, or even for children’s birthday parties. Rooms are spacious, bright, and private. The rooms are comfortable for anything from informal one-on-one meetings to structured theater style seating for 300. On-site audio and visual rentals, and business services are available.

Whether your event is for 30 or 300, put your mind at ease with the support of professional staff members, plenty of pre-event set up time, and the convenience of an adjoining caterer’s kitchen with an ice machine. To fit your own special tastes, you select your own caterer or we will assist you by providing a list of available caterers. The Community Center is also conveniently located close to the Clear Creek Path, making it an easy and pleasant walk to downtown Golden where dining options abound.

The Community Center is conveniently located 10 to 20 minutes from the Denver-metro area. The facility is accessible from all major highways and parking is free.

Rental fees are structured with daily and hourly rates.

  *Includes use of the caterer’s kitchen, tables and chairs.
• Sundays (Minimum 4 hours)
  10 a.m. – 12 a.m……………$325/Hour
• Monday – Thursday*
  7 a.m. - 1 a.m……………$225/day/section

The Community Room may also be rented by section:
Saturday – Thursday*…………….$100/hour/section (Minimum 2 hours)

The Golden Community Center has a full service caterer’s kitchen available for rental………$150/flat rate

Meeting Rooms

The Community Center has three smaller meeting rooms for rental Saturday – Thursday*.

• $40 / hour
• $175 / day (7 a.m. - 12 p.m.)

*Friday rentals are not available during the school year, and only available summers on a limited basis. Call (303) 384-8100 for more information.

**Deposit is required by Cash, Check, and Credit Card (Visa, Master Card, Discover).

**It is recommended that reservations be made at least two to three weeks in advance, or one year in advance for Saturdays.

**Audio and visual equipment is available for rent at a nominal fee.

**Alcohol in the form of beer, wine, or champagne may be served for up to four hours, but service must be cut off one hour before the event is over. An on-duty police officer must be present when serving alcohol.

Gym and Field Rentals

The City of Golden has 10 multi-purpose fields, an amphitheater, and the Tony Grampsas gymnasium available for rent to the public by calling the Athletic Supervisor at (303) 384-8125.

Field with Lights	$50/hour
Field by Day (6 hours or more)	$170/day
