This is a progressive night that mashes up the community of The Wright with local businesses and organizations of Golden by encouraging exploration of historic downtown. This year’s events, specials and partnerships are hosted by a number of different businesses.

Golden Landmarks Association (GLA) is hosting its seventeenth Living Landmarks Dinner this year to recognize individuals and organizations whose dedication to Golden has had a positive impact on the City and greater community. GLA is dedicated to preserving Golden’s history and historic places and educating residents and visitors alike about the Golden area.
Honorees will be recognized on Friday, May 4 in the Canyon Room at Mount Vernon Canyon Club in Golden, Colorado. For more information or to purchase tickets, visit goldenlandmarks.com,
Get your costumes ready and pump up your tires! The Golden Bicycle Cruise is back for another fun season of music, beer, food, and the always popular costume-themed cruise rides around Golden.
The family friendly event, sponsored by the Golden Community Commons group, takes place on the last Tuesday of the month, May through September. Gather at 6 p.m. in the parking lot next to the library for music, food and beer. Ride starts at 7 p.m. and ends back at the library lot where the fun continues until 9:30 pm.

Every Friday and Saturday night from June 1 through August 31, 5 to 8 p.m., Golden’s downtown comes alive with activity for the whole family to enjoy.
Dozens of Golden businesses stay open until at least 8 p.m. and offer specials, in-store demonstrations, samples and more.
Live music on the street corners, free carriage rides, and merchant special activities bring the festivities outdoors onto the sidewalks and in stores and restaurants throughout the summer weekend evenings.
The Downtown Golden Merchant Partners (DGMP) is hosting the events, with support from the Downtown Development Authority, in appreciation of the Golden community.
Participating businesses will be marked by a gold balloon at their front doors. Golden Weekends will not take place during Buffalo Bill Days weekend nor on Super Cruise Saturdays.
Free parking during the evenings will make it easy for families and visitors to come enjoy Golden Weekends.

The Golden History Museum & Park is thrilled to announce that, following a six-month closure to renovate the building, the Golden History Museum (GHM) will reopen on Saturday, June 23! To celebrate the renovation and the Museum’s 80th anniversary, GHM will have a FREE public open house on Saturday, June 23 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The Westernaires will be on hand from 10 a.m. to noon to add to the festivities with cavalry, trick roping, ponies and more. The Museum is located at 923 10th St.
Whether you’ve been to GHM many times or never before, this will be a whole new experience. All of the exhibits and displays are new, there are many hands-on areas, and for the first time, the work that’s done behind the scenes to restore artifacts will now be in plain view.
