Join the Golden Planning Division on December 1 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. for a virtual community meeting to discuss a 2020 update of the South Golden Neighborhoods Plan.
Staff will review the results of our summer surveys and take additional feedback from attendees. This will be the perfect opportunity to get involved with the project, even if you missed the initial surveys; there will be additional questions to refine our understanding of those initial results. Participants will be able to use interactive tools that will provide staff live feedback during the virtual meeting. We look forward to your participation!

A Golden icon for three decades, Golden Fine Arts Festival is a prestigious juried art show located in the heart of historic downtown Golden, Colorado happening August 21-22.
With its prime location just 20 minutes west of Metro Denver and free admission to the public, this premier event traditionally draws over 30,000 visitors (pre-COVID) over 2 days to enjoy art, live entertainment, beer and wine gardens, and food vendors.

Don’t miss the Golden Sidewalk Sale in beautiful downtown Golden. Roam Washington Avenue and stroll up and down the side streets looking for shops sporting balloons signaling a sale. Golden’s mostly locally-owned stores are going all out for this event with great prices on everything from outdoor gear and jewelry to clothing and artisan crafts. Get to Golden early for the best selection. The sale is citywide and most Downtown Golden merchants are participating. Sign up for the Metro Denver Green Homes Tour happening Saturday, Oct. 1 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. to visit over a dozen homes that showcase solutions and ideas for conserving energy and growing a more sustainable community.
There are a lot of events planned all day Saturday! Tour a “Tiny Home” at the American Mountaineering Center then stick around for a reception and Green Expo with food, drink and live music! You can also visit a “Growing Dome” and an “Electric Vehicle Round-Up” at other Golden locations.
