A Jefferson Symphony tradition and audience highlight continues with the JSO Holiday Concert. JSO musicians share the stage with vocalists Christie Conover and James Baumgardner in December and return to the newly designed Green Center at Colorado School of Mines. Howard Hanson’s musical homage to the 19th-century “Symphony No. 2 (Romantic)” is programmed alongside Peter Boyer’s bold and brassy “Festivities.”

Santa is coming by the Golden Police Department on Wednesday, December 11 and wants to meet you!
Come get your picture taken with Santa and meet police officers with the Golden Police Department. Officers will also be collecting letters and making sure Santa receives them. There will be snacks, coloring, crafts and much more holiday fun!

Celebrate women at the 5th annual Jeffco International Women’s Day on March 3 at Baldoria on the Water, 146 Van Gordon Street in Lakewood. The event is sponsored by SCL Health Lutheran and the City of Golden, with additional corporate sponshorships from Genesee Mountain Foundation, IX Power Clean Water, and corporate contributor, Coach Stacy’s Healthy U. Proceeds will benefit Porchlight Family Justice Center and the Jefferson County Library Foundation.
