A Jefferson Symphony tradition and audience highlight continues with the JSO Holiday Concert. JSO musicians share the stage with vocalists Christie Conover and James Baumgardner in December and return to the newly designed Green Center at Colorado School of Mines. Howard Hanson’s musical homage to the 19th-century “Symphony No. 2 (Romantic)” is programmed alongside Peter Boyer’s bold and brassy “Festivities.”

Santa is coming by the Golden Police Department on Wednesday, December 11 and wants to meet you!
Come get your picture taken with Santa and meet police officers with the Golden Police Department. Officers will also be collecting letters and making sure Santa receives them. There will be snacks, coloring, crafts and much more holiday fun!
On Saturdays in December, authentic and historic downtown Golden becomes a festive holiday center. Join in the holiday spirit and watch floats, clowns, festive holiday characters, and Santa Claus on the firetruck parade down Washington Avenue. After the parades, head to the downtown area shops and restaurants. Each parade is different, providing the perfect reason to bring the family back to Golden again and again!
