Now in its 36th Year, Leadership Golden is accepting applications for the 2019-20 Program. This tuition-free program provides local learning about Golden with 11 sessions that run from Sept. 7 to May 7, 2020. Topics include Golden history, government, public works, finance, growth and development, education, arts and recreation, and the justice system. Celebrate women at the 5th annual Jeffco International Women’s Day on March 3 at Baldoria on the Water, 146 Van Gordon Street in Lakewood. The event is sponsored by SCL Health Lutheran and the City of Golden, with additional corporate sponshorships from Genesee Mountain Foundation, IX Power Clean Water, and corporate contributor, Coach Stacy’s Healthy U. Proceeds will benefit Porchlight Family Justice Center and the Jefferson County Library Foundation.
