This year the Golden Gallop will offer a HYBRID event, with an in-person race on September 19, or an option to complete a race during a ‘virtual’ race window from Sept. 11 to Sept. 19. Choose from multiple race options, including a Kid’s Fun Run, a 5K and a 10K. Whether in-person or virtual, kids, families, and friends from all over are encouraged to participate. The event raises funds for the Golden Schools Foundation which provides educational funding for seven Golden articulation schools.
Join us on March 10 at 5 p.m. for a virtual community meeting to discuss the CoorsTek rezoning application to Planning Commission.
This meeting will include a staff overview of the project, the area, and a timeline of the process. The applicant will present the zoning request and provide details on each topical section of the zoning request. There will be a Q&A for each topic area so that the public can have a direct dialog with the applicant. This meeting will be recorded.
Join us for a Community Meet & Greet with the candidates selected by City Council to move forward in the City Manager recruitment process.
The candidates will introduce themselves and discuss their qualifications to lead the City of Golden, followed by a Q&A session.
