Council Outside Involvement

City Councilors represent Golden on boards and associations across the state and nation. Each Councilor can influence policy and decisions across various topics to ensure Golden’s interests are considered. Councilors may also be appointed to leadership and committee roles within their appointed organizations. Additionally, groups within our community have historically had an appointed Councilor to the board or organization.

Assignments are made at the beginning of the calendar year following an election.
