City Park Pavilion Rentals

Golden Park PavilionPavilions in two different city parks are available for rent, May through October:

  • Lions Park East and West (two separate pavilions)
  • Golden Heights Park

*Please read all documents before renting a pavilion.

Please note that only the pavilion and pavilion facilities are available for rent, and not the whole park itself. The rest of the park and its amenities are enjoyed on a first come, first served basis by everyone.

Pavilion Rental Information

Parking:  When renting a pavilion, especially in a park along the Clear Creek corridor or close to downtown, please keep in mind that most parking is now paid, or by permit only. Visit our Parking pages for parking maps and more information.

Park Rules:  All pavilion users must adhere to park rules, which are in effect for all city park visitors.

Smoke-free Parks & Trails

In an effort to build a healthier community, the Golden City Council passed a Smoke-Free Ordinance, which makes it illegal to smoke (both cigarettes and vaporizers) in public spaces:

  • All city-owned and maintained parks, open space, indoor and outdoor pools, sports/athletic fields, water parks and associated spectator areas.
  • All city-owned trails, biking and walking paths and the 25-foot perimeter surrounding these areas.

**Deposit is required by Cash, Check, or Credit Card (Visa, Master Card, Discover).

**Advanced reservations are required.

Community Center Facility Rentals

Just 10 to 20 minutes from the Denver-metro area, the Golden Community Center (GCC) is ideally located for conferences, corporate meetings, staff retreats, and celebrations. The facility is accessible from all major highways and parking is free.

Located close to the Clear Creek Path, the GCC is an easy and pleasant walk to downtown Golden, where dining options abound.

Six different spaces are available for rent during facility hours of operation. All the rooms are comfortable, spacious, bright, and private. All spaces include WiFi, tables and chairs, and AV equipment is available upon request.

Community Room (3 sections)

The spacious Community Room offers an elegant yet contemporary atmosphere for special events. This room will impress up to 200 guests with hardwood floors, high vaulted ceilings with chandeliers, spectacular views, and a private terrace.

  • Availability: Monday – Saturday (during facility hours of operation)
  • Cost:
    • $300 per hour or
    • $900 per day

Bear Creek, Clear Creek, or Coal Creek

Each room independently holds up to 50 people, or all three rooms may be combined to hold up to 200 people.

  • Availability: Monday – Saturday (during facility hours of operation)
  • Cost:
    • $100 per hour or
    • $300 per day

Gym and Field Rentals

The City of Golden has 10 multi-purpose fields and the Tony Grampsas gymnasium available for rent to the public by calling the Athletic Supervisor at (303) 384-8125 or email Brian Harris.

COG Mesa

 Golden was named after Thomas L. Golden,
a gold prospector who arrived in Jefferson County in 1858.
