Join the Golden Chamber of Commerce for pancakes with Santa! The event is from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 7 at Calvary Church, 1320 Arapahoe St. It’s a wonderful way to celebrate the season with your little ones. Breakfast includes pancakes, orange juice, and coffee. All kids will receive a goody bag as part of the experience.
Santa and Mrs. Claus will be there to listen to all of those wish lists! There will be Carol singing with Alli Coffey and holiday readings by Golden Children’s Librarian, Emily Vrotsos. Celebrity chefs from the Golden Volunteer Fire Department and Calvary Episcopal Church will cook up the breakfast.
Tickets must be purchased in advance at www.goldenchamber.org. Adults are $10, kids are $5, and children under three are free. No tickets will be sold at the door. A portion of the proceeds from Breakfast with Santa will go to the Golden Fire Foundation and Lunch and Life program for the Colorado School of mines free lunch program. Santa is coming by the Golden Police Department on Wednesday, December 11 and wants to meet you!
Come get your picture taken with Santa and meet police officers with the Golden Police Department. Officers will also be collecting letters and making sure Santa receives them. There will be snacks, coloring, crafts and much more holiday fun!

A Golden icon for three decades, Golden Fine Arts Festival is a prestigious juried art show located in the heart of historic downtown Golden, Colorado happening August 21-22.
With its prime location just 20 minutes west of Metro Denver and free admission to the public, this premier event traditionally draws over 30,000 visitors (pre-COVID) over 2 days to enjoy art, live entertainment, beer and wine gardens, and food vendors.
The event, rich in community tradition and a well-established reputation, is limited to 100 artist booth spaces. If social distancing restrictions are in place, booth spaces may be limited further. Artists are selected through a competitive jury process selected by art professionals. Traditionally, over half of participating artists travel to Golden from outside of the state of Colorado. Colorado is also home to many talented artists who participate at the event each year. Cash prizes are awarded to 1st and 2nd place winners in nine categories, as well as Best of Show and Best of Colorado honors.
