Public Art

The Golden Public Art Partnership (GPAP) was established in July of 1999 with the mission of ensuring the distribution, in public areas, of visible outdoor art that historically celebrates our community’s heritage and environment. The GPAP is a branch of the Golden Civic Foundation, but also receives funding from the City of Golden, as well as private contributions.

The Public Art Commission (PAC) is responsible for Golden’s Art in Public Places Program.  Learn more about the PAC on their webpage.

For more information and a map of Golden’s public art locations, download the Public Art Commission Brochure pdf download.

Sometimes great things come in small packages! Visit our Itty Bitty Art page for a map and an overview of some of our newest public art treasures hiding below eye level along Clear Creek and in Downtown Golden.
