Facilities & Use Rentals

City Park Pavilion Rentals

Golden Park PavilionThe City of Golden is pleased to offer the pavilions in four different city parks for rental. Pavilions are available for rent at Lions East and West, Golden Heights, and Tony Grampsas Park from April to October.

*Please read all documents before renting a pavilion.

Please note that only the pavilion and pavilion facilities are available for rent, and not the whole park itself. The rest of the park and its amenities are enjoyed on a first come, first served basis by everyone.

You may rent a pavilion by going to rec.cityofgolden.net, and following the Facility Reservations link on the left of the page. Please see the pavilion rental fees below, and Click here to check availability and reserve a pavilion.accompanying documents available for download.

When renting a pavilion, especially in a park along the Clear Creek corridor or close to downtown, you’ll need to keep the specific rules and regulations for those areas in mind. In particular, some parking on and near 9th Street, west of Washington Ave., now requires a permit within certain hours (map and resolution below), so choose your parking with care.

Special rules also apply along Clear Creek. For more information on rules and regulations in place along the Clear Creek corridor, please visit our Clear Creek Visitor Information page.

For more information on park pavilion rentals, please contact Brian Harris at (303) 384-8125.

Smoke-free Parks & Trails

In an effort to build a healthier community, the Golden City Council recently passed a Smoke-Free Ordinance, which impacts those who rent and enjoy the use of City-owned property. The Smoke-free Ordinance now makes it illegal to smoke (both cigarettes and vaporizers) in:

  • All City of Golden owned or controlled parks, open space, indoor and outdoor pools, sports/athletic fields, water parks and associated spectator areas.
  • All City-owned trails, biking and walking paths and the 25-foot perimeter surrounding these areas.

The 2015 Smoking Ordinance is available for download below.
