Join in the holiday spirit and watch floats, clowns, festive holiday characters, and Santa Claus on the firetruck parade down Washington Avenue. After the parades, head to the downtown area shops and restaurants. Each parade is different, providing the perfect reason to bring the family back to Golden again and again!

The Community Sustainability Advisory Board (CSAB) is looking for interested residents, local experts, and community activists to help in the following tasks:

• Identify data and resources needed to determine impacts.
• Review drafts of the 2020 Sustainability Strategic Plan.
• Help campaign for top priorities.

Each task force meeting will focus on one of the three sustainability goal areas : Water, Waste and Energy. Community members are invited to participate in one or more task forces of interest. To participate, simply show up to one of the task force meetings listed below. Refreshments will be provided.

Businesses in Golden will hear the latest status of loans available from SBA, City (DDA/GURA) fund, and others and have a chance to ask questions of presenters. Experts in their field will present to local businesses targeted information to help them navigate right now, where to focus their energy on recovering from the COVID crisis.
