US6 & Heritage Road Interchange Open House #4 @ Virtual Meeting

The next US6 & Heritage Road Interchange Open House #4 happens on Wednesday, Oct. 13 at 6 p.m. The meeting is entirely virtual and requires pre-registration. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.
This open house will include a presentation describing four alternatives for project aesthetics, and an opportunity for participants to ask questions and provide input.

Mines Park Redevelopment Meeting @ Virtual Meeting

The Colorado School of Mines Board of Trustees has given formal approval to begin work with a developer, Capstone Development Partners, on a public-private partnership that will reimagine Mines Park student housing and raise the total bed count from 538 to more than 1,000. Construction and renovation will begin in Summer 2022, with the first phase done by Fall 2023 and final completion by Fall 2024.

The project team is hosting the second of three meetings on Jan. 19, 6 to 7 p.m. with current Mines Park residents, Mines students and the surrounding City of Golden community as planning progresses to receive feedback on the vision for Mines Park.

Planning Commission Special Meeting for CoorsTek Application @ Council Chambers

Planning Commission will meet in special session to discuss an application by CoorsTek for a rezoning of 12.2 acres for mixed-use redevelopment, and an alley vacation for a platted alley between Ford and Jackson Streets (currently location of the parking lot adjacent to 10th St.) for the CoorsTek site.

Heart of Golden Community Update Meeting @ Council Chambers

CoorsTek Rezoning Application Community Meeting @ Council Chambers

Join us in Council Chambers on March 16 at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers for an in-person community meeting regarding the CoorsTek rezoning application to Planning Commission.

This meeting will include a staff overview of the project, the area and a timeline of the process. The applicant will present the zoning request and provide details on each topical section of the zoning. Following the presentation and an initial Q&A, there will be stations set up around the room by major topic, with both an applicant representative and city staff available to answer questions and have a dialog in a small group setting.
