Who better to fire up the griddle than Golden’s Firefighters! Don’t miss out on their tasty pancakes and bacon. Invite your friends and family to join you on the morning of Saturday, July 27, at the Golden Fire Station, 911 10th St., to fuel up your belly before heading to the Buffalo Bill Days parade.
The breakfast begins at 6 a.m. and lasts until just before the Buffalo Bill Days parade at 10 a.m. This is a great opportunity to meet Golden’s first responders in a fun and interactive way.
Purchase your tickets at the Fire Station 1 or from your favorite Golden Firefighter. Keep in mind that the biggest crowds are between 8:45 and 9:45 a.m., so try to come early. Funds raised at the breakfast go toward advanced training, equipment, and other support services for the Golden Fire Department.
The Golden Farmers Market, sponsored by the Golden Chamber of Commerce, will not be at its regular place this weekend due to Buffalo Bill Days.
Join us at the Golden High School upper lot from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday July 29 for a “Mini Market”.
For more information, visit GoldenFarmersMarket.org.
Turn on your porch lights, lock your doors, and join the Golden Police Department for the 2023 National Night Out event from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, August 1 in Parfet Park on the corner of 10th Street and Washington Avenue. Bring the whole family for face painting, crime prevention tips, food, and fun. The Flight for Life Helicopter will land at 7 p.m., provided they are not on a service call.
National Night Out is an annual community event that promotes police-community partnerships in a fun and relaxing environment.
