The City of Golden invites the public to attend the 2023 State of the City address. Join Mayor Laura Weinberg for this important community address which will include presentations from City Council and city leadership celebrating the City of Golden’s successes in 2022 and goals for 2023.

The Historic Preservation Board has a number of responsibilities regarding the preservation and upkeep of Golden’s many historic sites.
The Board meets in Council Chambers on the second Wednesday evening of each month in public hearing at 6:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted on the calendar. Study sessions may be scheduled as needed.

The Mobility & Transportation Advisory Board offers a venue to evaluate the relationship between mobility of all types and the economy, sustainability, safety, land use, neighborhood integrity, and emergency response times; and study the importance of transportation access to health care, employment, education, housing, business, and recreational facilities.
MTAB meets on the fourth Thursday of each month at 6 p.m. unless otherwise noted.
The REDI (Racial Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion) Task Force is comprised of nine individuals (including both community members and city employees) who were carefully selected by the REDI Subcommittee to represent different experiences, perspectives and expertise, and lead the important work of improving equity and inclusion in Golden.
The first meeting will be held June 1, 4:30 – 6 p.m. in City Council Chambers. Everyone is welcome to attend this and all future meetings, which will include additional participation and learning opportunities.
Join your neighbors for Coffee with Councilors at 10 a.m. in the Golden Community Center Coal Creek room (1470 10th St.) for a special Coffee with Councilors. This month, Scott Vargo will join as a special guest to discuss the recent Fire Department Cooperative Services Study and Council’s direction to have GFD remain a standalone municipal fire department.
Participants unable to attend in person can also join us online (bring your own coffee!).

Come out to Golden’s newest city park, DeLong Park, for an Earth Day Celebration (rescheduled from April due to weather) held by volunteer DeLong Weedbusters from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on June 3.
