The Public Art Commission (PAC) has the responsibility of promoting, selecting, acquiring and maintaining public art in the fulfillment of the City’s Art in Public Places program.

PAC meets on the first Thursday of each month from 9 to 10:30 a.m. These meeting are open to the public.

The Golden City Council meets every second and fourth Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. in Council Chambers (911 10th St.), unless rescheduled due to holidays or other events happening in the city.

This November, Golden voters will elect a Mayor and City Councilors for Districts 1 and 2.

Join us on September 19 , 6 to 8 p.m. in City Hall to learn more about each candidate during a Candidate Forum hosted by the League of Women Voters of Jefferson County.

If Council Chambers exceed the maximum number of people allowed per the fire code, additional visitors will be directed to the Fire Training Room where they will be able to watch the forum in comfort.
