The final public meeting to see results of the Heritage Road engineering study, originally to take place on February 6 from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the Shelton Elementary Library, has been postponed. At the February CWAC meeting, hosted by District 2 Councilor, Casey Brown, come share Craft Beers with a Councilor at the home of Patty and Preston Evans on Saturday, February 10, at 3 p.m.

The annual Chili Cook-off is GHS’s largest fundraising event. Enter your favorite chili in one of four categories, or just bring the family for all-you-can eat chili and shop the silent auction.

Tickets are $5 in advance and $7 at the door.

The Golden Investment Forum Task Force is charged with outreach to the community to review the community amenities, enhancements, and improvements proposed in recent years to determine the amount of community support for these proposals.

Be on the lookout for news of one of the many public forums that will be scheduled as the year progresses. All committee meetings are open to the public.

The Colorado School of Mines is developing a new master plan in conjunction with the MINES@150 plan. Mines will hold the first of three neighborhood meetings over the next several months, to gather public input for the master plan.

The meeting will be held in the Starzer Welcome Center at Colorado School of Mines, 1812 Illinois Street on Thursday, March 8, 5:30 – 7 p.m.

Enter on the north side of the building from 18^th St. Upon entering, the meeting room is to the right.

Parking is located in lot E on the west side of the building. Parking is free after 5 p.m.
