Golden Investment Forum Task Force Meeting @ Council Chambers

The Golden Investment Forum Task Force is charged with outreach to the community to review the community amenities, enhancements, and improvements proposed in recent years to determine the amount of community support for these proposals.

Be on the lookout for news of one of the many public forums that will be scheduled as the year progresses. All committee meetings are open to the public.

Downtown Development Authority Meeting @ Council Chambers

The Downtown Development Authority (DDA) is a special district entity authorized and directed by state statute to benefit the economic and community vitality of the downtown area. The DDA will also be authorized to provide tax increment economic incentives to eligible redevelopment projects, much like GURA was able to do in the past.

The DDA meets on the third Monday of each month (unless otherwise noted on the calendar) at 6:30 p.m. in Council Chambers.

Mobility & Transportation Advisory Board Meeting @ Council Chambers

The Mobility & Transportation Advisory Board (MTAB) is a citizen advisory board focused on mobility and transportation issues in the City of Golden. The main duties of the board include traffic operations, school zone safety, traffic calming, planning and funding priorities for transportation and mobility capital improvements, and parking management systems.

Additionally, MTAB offers various advisory and collaborative duties dealing with transportation and mobility.

Colorado C-PACE Information Session @ Jefferson County Government Center Lookout Mountain Room

Learn more about C-PACE at an informational session this Wednesday, February 28 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Jefferson County Government Center Lookout Mountain Room.

C-PACE enables owners of eligible commercial and industrial buildings to finance up to 100% of energy efficiency, renewable energy, and water conservation eligible improvements. Financing is provided by private capital providers at competitive rates with repayment terms up to 20 years. Tracy Phillips, the Director of the CO C-PACE program will discuss what C-PACE is, and how it can help you finance your energy efficiency and renewable energy projects using this compelling financing mechanism. Local Liquor Licensing Authority Meeting @ Council Chambers

The Local Liquor Licensing Authority meets on the third Tuesday of each month, unless otherwise noted. These meetings are open to the public and take place in City Council Chambers, 911 10th Street at 2:30 p.m.

The Board is comprised of a Hearing Officer, who is appointed by City Council.

The mission of the Community Sustainability Advisory Board (CSAB) is to assist the City of Golden in achieving the ten-year sustainability goals. In order to facilitate achievement of these goals, the Board will lead, encourage, enable, and empower the citizens, visitors, and people who work in Golden, to live in a sustainable manner.

The Community Sustainability Advisory Board will meet on the fourth Wednesday of each month from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., unless rescheduled for holidays or a lack of quorum. Meetings are open to the public. This meeting is their annual retreat, which will begin at 3 p.m. and end at 9 p.m.

Historic Preservation Board Meeting @ Council Chambers

The Historic Preservation Board has a number of responsibilities regarding the preservation and upkeep of Golden’s many historic sites.

The Board meets on the first Monday evening of each month in public hearing in the City Council Chambers at 6:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted on the calendar. Study sessions may be scheduled the third Monday of each month.
