Presented by Mopar Parts and in cooperation with Mile High Nationals at Bandimere Speedway, the Mopar Big Block Party kicks off Mile High Nationals NHRA racing weekend in downtown Golden. Race car driver are presented for public autographs and local car clubs display their cars.
Enjoy live music, concept cars, and local car displays. Food and beer will also be available for purchase.
The Golden Chamber of Commerce & Coors Distributing Company present the Knock Your Boots Off Chili Cook-Off & Beer Tasting. Proceeds of this tasty event benefit the Golden Chamber of Commerce community projects, including the Scholarship Fund for Golden High School and supporting St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

With its prime location and free admission to the public, this premier event draws over 35,000 visitors over 2 days to enjoy art, live performances, craft beer, food vendors, and children’s activities.
The established art fair will be limited to 134 artists selected through a competitive jury process. Cash prizes of over $2,000 await 1st and 2nd place winners in nine categories, as well as Best of Show and Best of Colorado honors.

The Railroad Halloween Town is a safe place to enjoy Trick or Treating. Catch a ride behind a historic Denver & Rio Grande Steam Locomotive in vintage passenger cars hosted by conductors and engineers in full costume.
Visit all of the special stops to fill your treat bags and tickle your funny bones including the “not so spooky” Haunted Railcar and the Olde Railroaders Silly Graveyard. Enjoy local food, kettle corn, shaved ice and even get your face painted. Finally, get a great picture of your costume as you pose in front of the Pumpkin Patch cart. The free Olde Golden Christmas Parade starts at 10:30 a.m. with cowboys on horses, floats, bands, old cars, elves on unicycles, the Grinch in his corvette, and of course, Santa Claus.
The parade winds down Washington Avenue with lots of activities before and after including snappy barbershop quartets, hot cider, Victorian carolers, and antique fire trucks. The parades are presented by the Golden Chamber of Commerce.
