Join the Golden Police Department on June 10 at Regis University as they, along with other law enforcement and safety agencies in the area kick off the summer with a focus on safety. Included in the event are free kid’s activities and giveaways, a distracted driving simulator, teen driving safety, Flight for Life and DPD Helicopters, K-9 demonstrations, police show cars and motorcycles, law enforcement equipment, 10 metro agency recruiting row, car seat checks, and much more.
Presented by Mopar Parts and in cooperation with Mile High Nationals at Bandimere Speedway, the Mopar Big Block Party kicks off Mile High Nationals NHRA racing weekend in downtown Golden. Race car driver are presented for public autographs and local car clubs display their cars.
Enjoy live music, concept cars, and local car displays. Food and beer will also be available for purchase.
The Golden Chamber of Commerce & Coors Distributing Company present the Knock Your Boots Off Chili Cook-Off & Beer Tasting. Proceeds of this tasty event benefit the Golden Chamber of Commerce community projects, including the Scholarship Fund for Golden High School and supporting St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
