Free movie tickets for the September 11 Movies & Music in the Parking Lot drive-in event will go “on sale” Friday, September 4 at 8 a.m. The movie to be screened will be determined by popular vote at GuidingGolden.com.
Tickets for the August 14 event sold out within hours of becoming available, so mark your calendar and don’t miss your opportunity for a free night of movie and music fun, right from the comfort of your own vehicle.
The link will be posted here and will go live at that time.
Tickets are free, but we must limit the number of attendees due to space limitations.
The 8th, 9th & 10th Street Historic District is invited to participate in our first meeting on Wednesday, September 9 at 6 p.m. For more information about the meetings, the project and to register to participate in the online meeting for your neighborhood, please visit the Heart of Golden 2020 project page.

The Citizens Budget Advisory Committee (CBAC) was created by the City Manager to advise City staff on the development, implementation, and evaluation of the annual City budget. Participation in CBAC is an opportunity not only to advise on the prioritization of how City tax dollars are spent, but also to advise our policymakers in their decision-making process.
CBAC meets the third Wednesday of each month, March through October and the second Wednesday of November, at 7:30 a.m.

Join the Planning Commission and Community Sustainability Advisory Board subgroup to discuss sustainable energy buildings and ideas for amendments to the residential green building standards, also known as the Residential Sustainability Menu, Section 18.24 of the Golden Municipal Code. This subgroup will focus on:

- Scope definition: Description of new construction in Golden: How many buildings per year, what types of buildings

- Prioritization of appropriate, effective policy measures to close gaps.

- Summary of final recommendations
