Experience eclectic music from Europe over the centuries at the Golden Concert Choir on May 6, 2017 at 7 p.m. at Clear Creek Church, 10555 W. 44th Ave.
Come early for a Silent Auction that takes place prior to the event.

- Tour the Golden Community Garden and learn about opportunities to participate.
- Have your questions answered by CSU Extension Master Gardeners and Master Composter experts.
- Learn about the City’s Sustainability programs, including water conservation and free sprinkler inspections.
- Find out how to deal with your green waste and how best to divert these materials from the landfill.
- Pick up free compost to amend your garden soil. Bring your own container to fill – buckets, trash cans, old potting mix bags, etc
As part of National Travel and Tourism Week, Visit Golden and the Golden Visitors Center will end the week with a guided hike leaving from the Golden Visitors Center.
Hikers (or walkers) can pick up trail maps, reusable water bottles and more. Learn about Golden’s extensive trail system and history. Join VFW Post 4171 in honoring those who died in active military service at the Golden Cemetery on Memorial Day. The service will begin at 11 a.m.
Learn more about the Workshop and register in advance. The event is free, but space is limited.
$1.00 per person suggested donation at the door to cover cost of the refreshments.
Help us celebrate Independence Day with a bang! The City of Golden will put on a fireworks display starting approximately 9:35 p.m., weather permitting. The fireworks can be best viewed from along the creek and the Lions Park Ballfields.
Follow us on Facebook or Twitter @CityofGolden to be the first in the know if a delay or cancellation is required due to wind or other unfavorable conditions. If the fireworks show does have to be canceled, it will be rescheduled at a later time.
Sponsored by the Golden Civic Foundation, Golden Summer Jam is fun evening for the whole family featuring performances from several all-ages bands with ties to Golden, including the Skeleton Dolls, Thunder & Rain, and Weatherbee and the Gnarbillys. Food and drink will be available for purchase.
This new summertime event was created with the idea of connecting Golden families and residents, and promoting community involvement while celebrating Golden’s small town, friendly atmosphere.
Tickets to the Golden Summer Jam are $15 for adults and free for children under 18 (admission for up to two children is free per family). Please note that there are a limited number of tickets that can be purchased so be sure to register early. Each adult ticket comes with a free Colorado Native Pilsner beer thanks to AC Golden’s generous sponsorship.
Come out early before Buffalo Bill Days festivities kick into gear and enjoy a hearty breakfast while supporting the Golden Fire Department.
This annual tradition raises money for the GFD while giving diners a tasty start to the day!
This is an all-you-can-eat buffet of deliciousness. Suggested donation is $7 for adults and $5 for kids under 12.
