The Colorado Cowboy Gathering (CCG) is dedicated to exploring, presenting and preserving the diverse and dynamic cultural heritage of the American West. CCG is an organization that believes in a world where a handshake means something and that the Code of the West is a powerful way to teach children to live a life of integrity, commitment and respect. CCG celebrates the wisdom, artistry and ingenuity of western folkways through exhibitions, statewide outreach educational programs, and a premier annual event held in January – a vital link to the past, present and future, and where the traditions of the cowboy and the Code of the West are shared through stories, poetry, song and verse.
