Golden United and Foothills Art Center are bringing together City of Golden staff, volunteers, businesses, city council members, and neighbors to talk about housing in Golden. We’ll discuss maintaining affordable housing, preserving the city’s character, and finding opportunities for action.

VAN-DEMONIUM is your chance to drool over vans and draw inspiration for your own adventure rig! Adventure rigs come in many shapes and sizes—from Sprinters with all the bells and whistles to the family mini-van with a home done conversion. 
This event will have vans on vans, plus beer, live music, games, and raffles so there’s something for every member of the family.

2018 marks the 8th year of the Neighborhood Rehab Project’s annual Be A Tool Day of Service. Neighborhood Rehab Project continues to provide a platform of opportunity for all ages, skill levels and passions to come together for the common purpose of helping a neighbor in need on the 2nd Saturday of September. It is also an opportunity for local businesses to give back to the community in tangible ways by volunteering services, supplies or their time for the day.
Focusing on safe, dry and warm issues for elderly, disabled, veteran or financially burdened homeowners, project examples include decks, stairs, doors, windows and roof repair.
The date for this year’s Be A Tool Day of Service is September 8, 2018 but registration is now open!
