The Golden Safety Academy was created to help educate and empower citizens with information and resources that enhance their personal safety and crime prevention. May 11, 2019 is the 27th annual Letter Carrier’s Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive, when postal workers all over the country collect food from patrons on their routes and deliver those contributions to local community food banks.
To participate, simply put non-perishable food in a sack next to your mailbox in the morning and your donation will be collected and used to help fellow Golden residents in need.

The City will conduct a public hearing to consider information concerning the execution and delivery by the City of a Lease Purchase Agreement of the 160,000 square foot office building on a 3.5 acre parcel of land located at 311 Tenth Street. The City plans to turn the building into a Civic Center.

Please join us for the second DeLong Park planning meeting on November 4, 6:30 p.m. at the Golden Community Center. Your participation and input is valuable during this design phase.
Staff and architects will present three conceptual renderings, followed by discussion.
