The Golden Planning Division will host a Community Open House event regarding the Transportation Master Plan. A project vision, project goals and project objective were developed and now the City needs citizen input.
What do you think are the most important goals of the TMP? How should funding be prioritized? Which types of projects are most meaningful to the community?
Join us on Tuesday, June 11 from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Golden Community Center.
The Golden Urban Renewal Authority (GURA) and the Downtown Development Authority (DDA) will host a joint open house to share information on their respective and mutual goals, projects and programs and to gather community input on capital investments.
The City will conduct a public hearing to consider information concerning the execution and delivery by the City of a Lease Purchase Agreement of the 160,000 square foot office building on a 3.5 acre parcel of land located at 311 Tenth Street. Stop by the Golden Utilities open house in the Golden Community Center on Wednesday, August 14 from 6 to 8 p.m. to learn more about your water, wastewater and stormwater utilities and potential changes ahead for how we charge for these services.
The open house will include stations that provide information about the water, wastewater and stormwater systems, water resources, rate study, water quality, and conservation. This is your chance to provide feedback on how Golden charges for utility services.
Your input is part of the rate study currently underway, to look at how customers are charged for water, sewer, and stormwater drainage services. A committee made up of experts and local residents worked for the past six months to evaluate the current system and ensure any changes are fair, equitable and tied to the demands that different types of customers place on the system.
The open house format is intended to be flexible to so please stop in at your convenience during the event!
