May 11, 2019 is the 27th annual Letter Carrier’s Stamp Out Hunger Food Drive, when postal workers all over the country collect food from patrons on their routes and deliver those contributions to local community food banks.
To participate, simply put non-perishable food in a sack next to your mailbox in the morning and your donation will be collected and used to help fellow Golden residents in need.
The City of Golden, in partnership with Golden United and the Foothills Art Center, invite you to a community workshop to discuss the future of Golden. We will talk about visions for Golden and how we can manage development to align with key goals, including preserving our small town character, access to affordable housing, and sustainability.
Together, we will brainstorm options for regulating land-use and development, as well as strategies for strengthening communication and engagement of residents in planning and zoning processes.
The community workshop will be held at Foothills Art Center, 809 15th St, on Tuesday, June 4, from 6 to 8:30 p.m.
Please register online for this free event so we can get an estimate of people, seats, and materials.
Please email jj@sjjtrout.com with any questions.
The City will conduct a public hearing to consider information concerning the execution and delivery by the City of a Lease Purchase Agreement of the 160,000 square foot office building on a 3.5 acre parcel of land located at 311 Tenth Street.
