The Golden City Council meets in Council Chambers in City Hall every second and fourth Thursday at 6:30 p.m., unless rescheduled due to holidays or other events happening in the City.

Join us for this special meeting as the Golden City Clerk swears in three people to Council positions. Laura Weinberg will be sworn in as Mayor, JJ Trout will be sworn in as District One Councilor, and Casey Brown will continue a second term as District Two Councilor.

Join us to thank the outgoing members of Council and welcome the new.

Golden Restaurant Week 2020 Kicks off @ All over Golden!

Celebrate Golden’s dining scene and magnificent holiday light display during the annual Golden Restaurant Week, which kicks off on Friday, January 31 and runs through February 9.

Go for a stroll through downtown or stop in to one of Golden’s distilleries to try a fancy cocktail or special before enjoying a meal at one of Golden’s fabulous restaurants. Participating restaurants, breweries, and distilleries will be offering specials each day.

Golden High School Chili Cook-Off & Silent Auction @ Golden High School

Help support the Golden High School and enjoy some tasty chili or mac and cheese on Thursday, February 20, 6 – 8:30 p.m. at the Golden High School, 701 24th St. with the PTA’s largest fundraiser of the year – the 8th Annual Golden High School Chili Cook-Off & Silent Auction.

Funds raised last year provided $7000 in grants to classrooms, student clubs, and organizations as well as five $1000 scholarships to graduating seniors.

To register a chili or purchase tickets, visit the GHS PTA website. Tickets are $5 in advance or $10 at the door.
