On Wednesday, January 29 and Wednesday, February 12, the City of Golden will host visioning workshops in City Council Chambers to discuss the Heart of Golden 2020: The Future of the Clear Creek Corridor. Both of these workshops will begin with a project update and will have a feedback activity, which will allow direct community comment and suggestions.
There are three key questions for the community to address at this workshop.
1) What does your dream corridor look like?
2) What uses would you like to see and where?
3) What uses are most important to you?
Join us for this unique opportunity to help plan the future and create a legacy in the heart of Golden. Learn more about the project on GuidingGolden.com.

The Planning Commission, established in 1948, affords residents the opportunity to actively participate in the planning of the City and its welfare; to learn all facets of the regulations governing such functions; interact with a wide variety of citizens participating in the shaping of Golden’s future; and assume an active role in any regulation changes involving zoning and subdivision activity.
Planning Commission Study Sessions recur on the third Wednesday of each month. Study Sessions are open to the public, but are for information only, and no public hearings or votes will take place during the meeting. To participate in a Planning Commission public hearing, those meetings are held on the first Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. (unless otherwise noted).
To download the agenda for the next meeting, or view archived agendas, minutes or listen to audio from past meetings, please visit the Agendas, Minutes, Web Casts and Schedules page. Visit the Planning Commission page to learn more about their responsibilities and duties.
