The City of Golden will be holding a virtual town hall to kick-off the design process for the US 6 & Heritage Road interchange on Wednesday, July 29 at 6 p.m.

The town hall will start with a presentation that provides background on the interchange and US 6 Corridor and information about the scope and timing of the design process. The meeting will use interactive tools so that participants can provide staff and the design team with input on the community’s desired outcomes from a new interchange and how the project can best meet Golden’s values and goals.  The design team will use information gathered from the community in this meeting to start the design process and develop interchange alternatives for further community input.

This town hall will use the Zoom meeting platform and will require you to register in advance.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

We hope that you will join us live on July 29. If you are unable to join us, a video of the meeting will be posted by July 31 on Guiding Golden and input will be accepted through August 14.

On Wednesday, August 12 at 6 p.m., join us for a virtual community briefing with Mayor Laura Weinberg and local education leaders about the upcoming school year and what parents and students should expect. Join us for this virtual update and Q&A session on GCO.tv (click the green “Now” button to watch live), www.cityofgolden.net/Agendas, Comcast Channel 8/880 or Facebook Live. If you participate on Facebook live, you will have an opportunity to send in your questions as the Mayor and City Manager are talking.
