Join Planning Staff on Monday, Sept. 20 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at the Golden Community Center for a community meeting to discuss the mapping of the new zoning code in the 8th and 9th Street Neighborhoods, the 12th Street Neighborhoods, and the Downtown Neighborhoods of Golden. Those who own or rent a property in that area will receive a postcard in the mail. One more meeting is scheduled this month on the 23rd to discuss mapping of the new zoning code in Central Golden.
Each meeting will be hosted at the Golden Community Center from 5:30 to 7 p.m. The purpose of these meetings is to present the new Form Zone Overlay Districts that have been mapped to specific zone districts. Staff will be on hand to explain the methodology used to apply these maps, and gather feedback.
Staff will work with the community to refine the current map of the new form zone overlays.

The Leadership Golden Alumni Association (LGAA) is hosting a Candidate Forum in connection with this year’s Golden election of City Councilors. The forum will take place on Wednesday, Oct. 13 from 6 to 8 p.m. in City Council Chambers, 911 10th St.
