Both runners and walkers are welcome for this annual, fun, community event! All funds raised by Demon Dash will benefit Golden High School students by funding technology and co-curricular activities such as clubs and athletics.
Race day registration is available beginning at 7:30 a.m. at Golden High School the day of the race (Saturday, November 5th), or you can learn more and register online in advance for an individual or a group.
Putting the ‘fun’ in fundraiser, this annual event supports the efforts of the Mitchell Elementary PTA with a stroll down the ‘saloons’ of Washington Avenue.
Check in at YoColorado (805 12th Street) from 6 – 7 p.m., then head to the Buffalo Rose for boot scooting to the music of the “Gnarbillys,” while bidding on unique auction items.
Tickets and more information are available at www.westernonwashington.com.
Who better to fire up the griddle than Golden’s Firefighters! Don’t miss out on their tasty pancakes and bacon. Invite your friends and family to join you on the morning of Saturday, July 27, at the Golden Fire Station, 911 10th St., to fuel up your belly before heading to the Buffalo Bill Days parade.
The breakfast begins at 6 a.m. and lasts until just before the Buffalo Bill Days parade at 10 a.m. This is a great opportunity to meet Golden’s first responders in a fun and interactive way.
Purchase your tickets at the Fire Station 1 or from your favorite Golden Firefighter. Keep in mind that the biggest crowds are between 8:45 and 9:45 a.m., so try to come early. Funds raised at the breakfast go toward advanced training, equipment, and other support services for the Golden Fire Department.
Come do some holiday shopping at the Annual Golden High School Holiday Bazaar held by the GHS PTA.
With plenty to choose from and a variety of goods from over 70 different vendors, you can make a big dent on your holiday shopping list.
This is a fundraiser for the students at Golden High School, helping with scholarships, grants, and more.
The Bazaar will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 2 at Golden High School, 701 24th St. Includes free parking and admission.
Bursting with Colorado charm and holiday spirit, Golden’s holiday parade is a beloved family-friendly tradition.
The parade route runs along Washington Ave. from 10th St. to 13th St. and will feature elves, floats, Victorian carolers, antique cars, the Grinch, Santa, and tons of joy!
