In 1989, the Golden City Council created the Golden Urban Renewal Authority (GURA) to support the economic vitality of downtown Golden. When the Golden City Council created GURA, it also adopted an Urban Renewal Plan to provide guidance to GURA. The organization implements urban renewal projects, consistent with community values.
The Golden Urban Renewal Authority meets on the second Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. in Council Chambers. To learn more, visit our GURA page. To view agendas and minutes for GURA meetings, visit our Agendas, Minutes, Web Casts and Schedules page.
