Get your furry boots and Viking horns out! It’s time for Ullrgrass, the 3-day festival named for the Norse God of Winter that highlights local talents as well as some well-known bluegrass performers.
The festival features a costume contest, troubadours and beer from over 30 breweries.

The best way to enjoy the event is to walk, cycle, or take public transit if you are able. If you need to drive, plan to park your muskox in the free Clear Creek lot at 304 10th St, in any of the downtown garages or surface lots, or use the on-street parking, following all relevant signs.

The Board meets in Council Chambers on the second Wednesday evening of each month in public hearing at 6:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted on the calendar. Study sessions may be scheduled as needed.

The Golden Farmers Market, sponsored by the Golden Chamber of Commerce, takes place Saturdays, June 1 – Oct. 5 (closed July 27 for Buffalo Bill Days) from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 10th and Illinois.
The Farmers Market features 70 vendors of produce and homemade artisanal foods and goods. Food trucks are onsite for visitors to enjoy breakfast or lunch by the creek.
Leashed, friendly dogs are welcome.
Parking in the area is by permit or paid, so please pay attention to signs when visiting the market, or consider alternative transportation.
The Golden Farmers Market welcomes SNAP Benefits and offers Double Up Food Bucks for patrons.
