A Golden icon for nearly three decades, Golden Fine Arts Festival is a prestigious juried art show located in the heart of historic downtown Golden.

With its prime location and free admission to the public, this premier event draws over 35,000 visitors over 2 days to enjoy art, live performances, craft beer, food vendors, and children’s activities.

The established art fair will be limited to 136 artists selected through a competitive jury process. Cash prizes are awarded to 1st and 2nd place winners in nine categories, as well as Best of Show and Best of Colorado honors.

Join the Public Works Department for the kick-off session of the Annual Public Works Citizen’s Academy. This Academy is a free 20-hour program exploring the work that goes into keeping Golden’s streets clear, the water flowing, and the city beautiful! Participants can expect equipment demonstrations, presentations by Public Works staff, and tours of City facilities including a field trip to Guanella reservoir. Staff and architects will present three conceptual renderings, followed by discussion.
