The Historic Preservation Board will tour portions of historic downtown Golden on a walking tour in lieu of a regular meeting in Council Chambers.
The Board will meet at the Visitor’s Center parking lot (1010 Washington Avenue) at 6:30 p.m., and tour for approximately 1 hour on Washington Avenue and 12th Street. Please wear comfortable, weather-appropriate attire and shoes for approximately 6 blocks of walking.

Stop by Visit Golden’s Shop Small Welcome Station from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Nov. 25 to pick up a tote bag before experiencing all of Golden’s five shopping areas.
The welcome station will be located in front of the Golden Visitors & Information Center at 1010 Washington Ave.

Experience the beauty of the holiday season with a walk down Washington Ave., candle (or glowstick) in hand, singing carols on Friday, Dec. 1.
The pre-walk holiday show starts at 5 p.m. on the stage at 10th and Washington. The walk starts at 6:30 p.m. in front of Foothills Art Center on 15th St.
Bring a candle or purchase one beforehand from a local vendor.

The Golden Concert Choir will perform their annual holiday concert favorites on December 2 at 4 p.m. at Calvary Church, 1320 Arapahoe St. (Doors open at 3 p.m.)

PAC meets on the first Thursday of each month from 9 to 10:30 a.m. These meeting are open to the public.

Get your furry boots and Viking horns out! It’s time for Ullrgrass, the 3-day festival named for the Norse God of Winter that highlights local talents as well as some well-known bluegrass performers.
The festival features a costume contest, troubadours and beer from over 30 breweries.
